The DAP GIG-104C mixer is excellently suited for gigs of small bands or theatre groups, for conferences and presentations. Four microphone channels with XLR connectors form the basis of this compact and reliable mixer in combination with the two stereo channels. Two compressor controls on the first two channels are highly practical, as they let you suppress peaks in the volume of vocals or speech for a smoother sound and improved intelligibility.

GIC-104C: a very complete mixer

Each of the mono channels of the GIG-104C can precisely be adjusted with a 3-band equalizer. Ensure a balanced sound image that neatly matches the acoustics of the space you're in. Adjusting the volume of a channels is easily managed with the practical sliders at the bottom. If you are using a floor monitor, you can connect it to the AUX output. Subsequently you can set the signal output per channel, so that the right mix is achieved and produces by the monitor. Alternatively, you can also place an effects device between AUX and Return.

Outputs, stereo inputs and expansion

The final mix is sent to a set of active PA speakers via the two Main outputs. An optional second output signal can leave the mixer via the CTRL outputs. Furthermore, the mixer is provided with the two, previously mentioned, stereo channels, to which you can connect a keyboard, a CD player or another stereo source. Channel 3 and 4 can be used as stereo channels. A practical extra of the DAP Audio GIG-104C is the option to connect a separately available extension module: the MP3 playback or recording module or the Bluetooth module.
